About

Who is behind the streams?

Fancy Music Group is not just an online radio. It’s a small, slightly obsessive project built by people who never really left the club — they just stayed a bit longer near the speakers, the turntables and the radio console… and somehow decided this was a perfectly normal life choice.

We come from the 90s and early 00s club culture. From nights that started on Friday and ended sometime on Sunday afternoon. From DJs, radio producers and dedicated clubbers who learned electronic music the hard way: through vinyl, mixtapes, pirate streams, record shops and forums — long before algorithms decided what you should hear next, and long before anyone thought “data-driven taste” was a good idea.

The geography may be Greece, but the mindset was always global. If it sounded good, emotional or slightly dangerous, it found its way into the mix.

Fancy Music Group lives deep in the underground side of electronic music, with a lot of respect for its 90s DNA — but without getting stuck there. The streams travel from early deep house, progressive and trance, through eurodance and breakbeats, all the way to whatever feels like the future of those sounds.

We’re not afraid of a cheesy eurobeat hook, a soulful vocal or a way-too-long progressive breakdown. If it makes sense in the mix and keeps the dancefloor emotionally confused (in the best possible way), we’ll probably play it twice.

One name, several ways to experience the same universe of sound. Fancy is built as a connected ecosystem. What you hear on the radio should make sense with what you hear in a club, on a terrace, in a forest, or on a random Tuesday night with headphones on. If it feels disconnected, it doesn’t belong.

The radio side of Fancy is split into dedicated streams: Fancy House, Fancy Progressive, Fancy Trance, Fancy Psytrance, Fancy Chillout, Fancy Eurobeat, and Fancy Radio for radio edits only.

Each stream has its own mood, but they all share the same foundation: warm low end, emotional melodies, club energy and that strange feeling of “this could be 1999… or next year.”

And yes — more streams will be added in the future. We don’t know how many yet. It could be one or two. It could be ten or twenty. It mostly depends on how deep we fall into a sound and how hard it refuses to let go.

Everything is curated by humans, not algorithms. People who still remember digging for vinyl, burning CDs, and naming Winamp playlists like it was a life decision — and who still get suspicious when a playlist feels too perfect.

Fancy Events take the sound of the streams and move it into physical spaces: clubs, warehouses, terraces and outdoor locations. House-heavy nights, long trance journeys, chillout sunset sessions or mixed “all Fancy sounds” lineups — depending on the space, the crowd and the moment.

The idea is simple: if it works on the station, it can work on a soundsystem. Less superstar DJ obsession, more focus on residents, friends and guests who fit the vibe. Expect good sound, low ceilings when possible, and a mild addiction to proper bass.

Behind Fancy there’s a loose family of DJs and selectors — some active since the 90s, some newer faces who share the same unhealthy love for electronic music. The bookings side exists to connect this group with the right rooms: clubs, bars, after-hours spots, terraces or special one-off events that resonate with the Fancy sound.

If you’re a venue, promoter or brand and this universe feels familiar, get in touch for curated lineups, takeovers or long-format sets.

The label side of Fancy Music Group is an evolving idea. Tracks born in late-night studio sessions. Tunes that live on the streams for a while and then deserve a life of their own out in the world.

Expect music that mirrors the station: deep house, progressive journeys, trance influences, hypnotic psy elements, chillout textures — and yes, occasionally something euro-inspired that somehow still feels underground.

The goal isn’t volume. It’s identity — a small catalogue that sounds like Fancy right now.

Fancy Music Group is intentionally small, a bit nerdy and very specific about sound.
We don’t try to be everywhere — just where the lights are low and the music makes sense.

If something here feels like “your place”, you already know why.

Welcome in.
